Vasandham was founded by K. Kunasekaran (known to everyone as Guna) in 1987. We are based in the Varusanadu valley, a remote area of Tamil Nadu, South India, and our mission is “To help the people most in need to help Themselves”.
The Women’s Development Programme works through forming village level Women’s Self Help Groups,
Most people in the Varusanadu valley depend on agriculture for their livelihood
Vasandham works on community health issues in all the villages of the Varasanadu valley.
